The Romanian team started the research activities with a visit to the Institute of Multidisciplinary Research for Science and Technology from Valahia University of Targoviste (ICSTM - http://www.icstm.ro/content/About), by courtesy of the principal Mrs Cristiana Rădulescu. The researcher - Mr. Alin Bucurică guided us through the Institute laboratories, explaining the phenomena studied there and giving us some practical demonstrations. The EDINN project volunteers enjoyed seeing how a mini robot moves elements into a fluid (which may be the space of a biological cell), and they understand how the sciences combine their forces to meet a human need. Also, sample preparation, microscopic scanning, photochemical cell production, testing and optimization are just a few of the phenomena observed.
#edinn2018 Yesterday (24.10.2018), we had the opportunity to visit the Institute of Multidisciplinary Research for Science and Technology from Valahia University of Targoviste (ICSTM - http://www.icstm.ro/content/About), by courtesy of the principal Mrs Cristiana Rădulescu and the researcher Alin Bucurică, who guided us through the Institute laboratories, explaining the phenomena studied there and giving us some practical demonstrations. Astronomical and planetary observers, astronomical institutions, research institutions, astronomy associations and clubs, education and science organisations, amateur astronomers, young astronomy enthusiasts, publishers, telescopes and educational products, invited from the diaspora and abroad, were present. It was an excellent opportunity for EDINN volunteers to start researching here, experimenting, observing different astronomical phenomena, and discussing with personalities present at the event. |
